Agreement
By using this website or purchasing a package from First Step Websites (a subsidiary of Hurley Media Consulting LLC), you agree to these terms.
Services
We design and build websites according to the package you select. The specific pages, features, and revisions included are those listed on our packages section or confirmed in writing with you before work begins. Anything outside that scope is quoted separately as an add-on.
Pricing and Payment
Package prices are one-time build fees unless stated otherwise. Promotional pricing is available only for the period advertised. Payment terms are confirmed before the project starts, and work begins once the agreed deposit is received. Third-party costs such as domain registration, hosting, premium plugins, or stock imagery are not included unless expressly stated.
Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing content such as text, images, logos, and business details, and for confirming that you have the right to use them. Project timelines depend on receiving that material and your feedback promptly.
Revisions and Approval
Each package includes a set number of revision rounds. Once you approve the final design and the site is launched, further changes are billed as updates or covered by a support plan.
Ownership
Once your project is paid in full, you own the final website content and design delivered to you. We retain the right to display the completed work in our portfolio and marketing unless you ask us in writing not to.
Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel a project at any time. Fees for work already completed are non-refundable, and any remaining balance for unstarted work will be returned.
Third-Party Services
Websites may rely on third-party services such as hosting, domain registrars, email providers, or analytics tools. We are not responsible for outages, pricing changes, or policy changes made by those providers.
Limitation of Liability
Our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or business interruption. We do not guarantee specific search rankings, traffic levels, or sales results.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
